Ridge Lines
Striking mountain ridges connect towering peaks, lead through ever-changing landscapes, and reveal new perspectives. With Ridge Lines, Mathis Länzlinger sets out in search of musical reflections of these experiences.
Together with his quartet, the drummer and composer presents original compositions inspired by encounters with nature, personal stories, and folk traditions from different parts of the world. Blending acoustic and electronic soundscapes, memorable melodies, and the openness of improvisation, the music tells stories of new beginnings, vulnerability, gratitude, and a deep sense of connection.
The quartet consists of drums, piano/synthesizer, e- or double bass and electric guitar.

Sastrugi
Sastrugi embody a fascinating paradox: in the midst of the ferocity of its environment, they rise in graceful form. Their forms are fleeting, constantly changing in the game of light and shadow. And yet they defy all intuition by forming across the prevailing wind. A challenge for those who try to cross them!
Just like these impressive snow formations, music is created here. A constantly forming jazz, like snow on the way into the valley – exploring in a playful way: electroacoustic worlds from groove to chaos!

Tobias Haug Stringtet
Founded in 2025, Tobias Haug combines ten young musicians in an extraordinary line-up of strings, woodwinds and rhythm section. The repertoire includes original compositions and jazz standards, inspired by Broadway sounds and improvisational freedom.
I am active as a sideman on the drums and form the rhythmic structure and the ensemble’s groove.
